RowDeck is a local desktop application. Your local database contents, saved connection profiles, SQL queries, and app settings are intended to stay on your device and are not uploaded to RowDeck servers as part of normal app use.

• Website and downloads: Technical request information such as IP address, browser or user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and security or error logs may be processed by our hosting providers to serve and protect the site.
• Purchases and licenses: When you buy RowDeck, payment and checkout details are handled by Stripe. We store license records, purchase identifiers, customer email addresses, license keys, and fulfillment status so we can deliver and manage your license.
• License manager: If you use the license manager or license activation APIs, we process your email address, license key data, session cookies, device identifiers or hashed device identifiers, device labels, platform, app version, and activation timestamps.
• Updater checks: When the app checks for updates, we store hourly aggregate counts by product, channel, request path, status code, Cloudflare data center, country, user agent family, and current version. We do not store IP addresses, persistent device IDs, auth tokens, or full user agents for updater analytics.
• Support: If you contact us, we process the information you send, such as your email address, message contents, license details, and diagnostics you choose to provide.

• Provide the product: To deliver the website, downloads, purchases, license emails, activations, license management, support, and updates.
• Security and reliability: To prevent abuse, verify webhook and license requests, troubleshoot failures, and keep the service available.
• Legal obligations: To meet accounting, tax, compliance, dispute, and recordkeeping requirements.
• Product improvement: To understand update adoption and operational health from limited aggregate updater analytics.

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data as needed to perform a contract with you, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate interests such as security and service reliability, and, where required, based on your consent.

We use service providers to operate RowDeck, including hosting, email delivery, payment processing, license fulfillment, repository and support tooling, and security services. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us. Payment information is processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms and privacy notices.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including active license management, support, security, accounting, tax, and legal requirements. License and purchase records may be retained for as long as needed to provide license access and comply with recordkeeping duties.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to request portability. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

RowDeck is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
